The declarations of the High Sheriff, the Deputy Sheriff and the Deputy Under Sheriff took place on 4th April at Jubilee Hall in Amersham. The ceremony was led by The Resident Judge Aylesbury and Amersham Crown Courts, His Honour Judge Jonathan Cooper and witness by the Chair of Buckinghamshire Magistrates Debbie Gibbs JP.
Speeches
Speeches were given by the New High Sheriff, Pippa Kirkbride, the previous High Sheriff, Kurshida Mirza BEM and HM Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire, The Countess Howe.
Prayers
Opening and Closing prayers were given by the new chaplain, Reverend Jonny Rapson.
Music
The fanfare for the High Sheriff by Paul Guenault, Director of Music, Buckinghamshire Music Trust was performed by members of Bucks County Youth Orchestra.
