With huge thanks to Woodrow High House for helping me host a High Sheriff Fun Day on Saturday for 50 local young people who would not normally have access to this type of activity.
It was wonderful to see the groups of young people trying the high ropes for the first time, followed by archery and then working as teams helping each other over obstacles and walls.
The level of chat and noise at lunch was infectious; the smiles and laughter said it all. It was a day full of joy.
